Did a "Pantry Purge" today, and filled my new containers with non-perishables like Pasta, Rice, Cereal and Beans.

Got 2 more shelves to organize, but those will have to wait until next week...

Between washing and drying the containers, tossing the old stuff and labeling and putting the above-mentioned items in containers, I'm pooped!

More out the door in 2024....

-Found an old bottle of Cava that must be 5+ years old in the fridge. Adios.

-Six mini-panettone not eaten over the holidays and must go before I inhale them 

-Old blue mesh laundry hamper circa 2007 that has served us well. So long, farewell.

p.s. Did replace that blue laundry hamper with two smaller white ones. So this item may be a 'wash'. LOL

@nwbabs The Panetonne struggle is real! 🤣 I made myself buy only 2 minis this year, one for me one for bf. My mom used to always buy the big one, send us home with it and we'd devour it day after day with coffee. Hey, only 350 cals per serving and about 25 grams of cholesterol! What..everrrr! Lol.

I had to limit it this year or else...Lord knows I'm still trying to "moderate" myself while finishing up some other goodies in the house! Oh well....that Panettone comes but once a year!

@just bee Lol...Well, I only ever bought one mini Panettone (long gone) this year...however....I'm still "having a little party" as my dear mom used to say, with what's left of:

Yumm!! Only comes out in my store but once a year, so I'm enjoying.

The scale said today I'm still ok! (magically somehow?!)

so🤷‍♀️ enjoying it while it lasts! Enjoy that biscotti. 😄

@just bee I did too, absolutely always those! They were on our holiday table in bowls, in bowls all over our homes and grandma's, all through the season. Plain, Lemon & Arancia! (I think that's how they said Orange?)

My store carries the Scalfani brand, but when looking for a pic to post here I just realized Amazon sells the old kind I remembered but didn't know where to find anymore. Definitely getting those next time. Though, I have to say...Scalfani's is delicious! btw, that stack of boxes was a pic I pulled off the internet...I, unfortunately only have 1/2 a box left. Lol. Maybe that's a good thing.

Oh and we had such fun, as Catholic kids, pretending that wafer that came on them was the heavenly host we'd put on each other's tongue, immitating the priest. Ha. Simple times.
