Re: Declutter 2021: What have you purged today?

@gidgetgh

Congratulations on your new home!  You did it!👏  I'm happy to hear your closing went well and so far it sounds as if your moving is as well.

It's only natural for things to seem rather surreal for you right now, especially since you haven't had any sleep!

Thanks for stopping in to let us know how everything went.

Happy New Year and Happy New House!🎉🎊

Re: Declutter 2021: What have you purged today?

My only purge was food - the fridge is cleaned out of all holiday food. Goodies are packed well in the freezer for a treat this winter and food that was not eaten tonight was thrown away.  Generally I don't pitch food but I knew we would not eat it and obviously you can't keep food to long!

@gidgetgh  Good luck to you in your new home.  You will be fine, one day at a time.

@ Chessielady

Imaginary life is a perfect description!  High hopes prevail but life gets in the way sometimes - for me anyway.

I sent some things off to freecycle land early this evening.

Some brand new Christmas gift bags, 2 new bottles of floor cleaner that I can't use on my new floors, a new with tags bathmat, a shower curtain and some acrylic wire shelf liners from the Container Store. I had 6 left over after lining my shelves.  Everything went immediately.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
