To me it's depressing.  I like light and bright.

Dark floor with dark cabinets, need some contrast there. Looks like a black hole.

@lolakimono Too dark for me.  I do like the look of white or light grey upper cabinets and black under cabinets.

I love both pics one and two.  I've always regretted not getting the dark cabinets when I had my kitchen remodeled ... cabinets are more like #3 now.

BTW ... love that chair!

Edit:   If I had a choice to change my cabinets I'd opt for # 1 without hesitation, and I'd want the chair included at no cost.

I love white cabinets, with light floor, but counters can be a dark contrast.

My preference is for "dark."  My preference for all rooms is dark.  Bright and sunny bothers me.

I really like that black kitchen.   Nice bay window over the sink.

I might get tired of it but I love the picture.

I love medium woods with a stain like Cherry or Walnut... not really dark and a wood floor that encompases that color with lighter woods (like oak colors).  Love lighter walls with that as well.

Just don't put me in a bright yellow kitchen.... it really makes me cranky.....
