I need something to clean my couch, it is not stained but needs 'cleaned'...I do have a carpet cleaner that I could use the wet method but I prefer to dry sprinkle, rub in, allow to set and vacuum off.  Any tried and true suggestions?

 Thanks

From what I've read you can use most carpet cleaners on upholstery. Just do a small section first and see how it turns out.

I used Resolve Powder on my dining room chairs (cushion part where you sit). Turned out fine. It's a messy job and takes time to work the powder into the fabric using a scrub brush. Then you have to vacuum up all the powder. It was a lot of work.

I would never consider a dry method.....had professional cleaning once and was very pleased...........was't soaked - smelled so fresh and no dusty flakes left behind.
