Poor room doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up!

I think the 'total look' is ridiculous but those hardwoods are beautiful. This room has a lot of potential, once whoever decorated it is institutionalized for his or her own safety and for the public good.

I have to agree with @stevieb those hardwood floors are beautiful!

I'd keep the floors and the built in cabinets. I'm undecided on the fireplace. I don't like the wallpaper, but do like the color blue that's in it and would like to see what the walls would look like painted that blue color against the white of the cabinets. However EVERYTHING else must go.

I honestly don't see a single thing in this room that I like.

I do like the chairs, the fireplace, the china cabinet and would redo everything else.
