I wish I could get a closer look at the stuff on the table.  What is that silver tube-type thing coming off the silver thing to the right (above the pears)?  Is that white vase under the glass?   Are those bird nests?  Do they know how filthy bird nests are?  Finally, please tell that is not  a wasp nest.

Is that a hornet's nest on the table?  I'd be afraid they'd return home.  Very unappealing.

Looks kind of like a paper wasp's nest to me, but I wouldn't want either one laying on the dining table!
