Re: DOMINICK DUNNE'S COUNTRY HOUSE

The only think I don't like in his Conn. home is the Dining Room Red Wall and Drapes. It is the perfect Conn. home.

The NYC apartment is lovely.

New York mystifies me.  How can anyone relax in an outdoor space with potentially several thousand people staring from their windows at you?  I bet those spaces aren't much used, especially if the resident is a celebrity.

@Kachina624  My son has an apartment like that and the same kind of outdoor space. Believe me when I say, no one is staring from their windows at anyone. We have often over the years spent time there and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition, few have curtains because you can change the glass with a touch of a switch to block out anyone seeing in.....

Re: DOMINICK DUNNE'S COUNTRY HOUSE

Oh, wow, I could live in these places!  Only thing I would change.......make just the fireplace wall in the bedroom a dark green, the rest a cream and paint the walls in the dining room a cream to go w/all the red.

The penthouse looks cozy and inviting.  And that terrace!  Would love to try penthouse living in NYC!

@Oznell

You post some of the most interesting subjects.

I could be comfortable in both homes. I enjoy seeing how people from different walks of life live or did live. It's so interesting to me, especially when there's some history to it, or a story to tell.

Not crazy about the patterned furniture in the living room, other than that, the place is beautiful.
