I have nothing against DIY. Making DIY jewelry, storage containers and maybe renovating some old stuff is pretty nice. But DIY furniture? That too something like this? NOPE.

Instead of throwing them away when you run out of coats and suits.

Quite clever and economical when money is tight.

I think it might work in a girl's room as a night table.  Put a little lamp on it.  Stack her favorite books on the bottom shelf and she's ready to read.

I think that is really, really clever!!  Amazes me at the creativity that someone had for that. I would have done that in my first $125 a month apt back in the 70's in a heart beat, when I was scrounging for any type of furniture on the cheap.  Cheap, functional and just plain cute!!
