Thanks for checking, I know nothing about quilt patterns, other than what the ever popular 'wedding ring' pattern looks like.

I'd like to be your DD but I think I'm a little too old!  That is one lovely quilt. I don't make them but my grandmother and great grandmother did.  I cherish the ones they gave me.

This quilt is just beautiful! What a wonderful retirement gift to receive. Your daughter is quite talented and patient to put all this hard work into the project.

Once again thank you all for the nice comments.  I love the way the back is quilted.

 

The fabrics on the front are flowers.  She gardens so it seemed appropriate.

 

She usually trys to find a nice fence or stonewall for the pictures but it didn't work out this time.
