Crystal swags for chandelier

I have a chandelier that has crystal drops , but no swags .  Just wondering if anyone ever added crystal chains to an existing fixture and where you got them?  I know Valerie offered what would have been great ,  for the holidays a couple years ago and she just laid them in a plain chandelier.  That's what I have in mind.  Can't get clear though our's is smoke grey which will most likely be harder to find.

@Kitty Galore I got the VPH crystal swags two years ago and the fam loved so I kept them up all year.

I think the clear would look great with the smoke you have.

I'll post a pic tomorrow as I couldn't get a good one this time of night.

@Kitty Galore  Yes, I did that in my kitchen over the breakfast table.  Mine is actually black (wrought iron) metal with crystals and I wanted it to have more sparkle so I added a crystal chain.  Not one single person has ever said anything about it but asked where I got the chain and "how cute..."

@MickD  I look  forward to seeing your photo tomorrow.    I will be able to see how it will look.  I only wish I had purchased Valerie's when it was offered.  Maybe I can find it on eBay.😺

At HL they have crystal drops and chandeliers (in the christmas decor area) many different shapes & sizes.  I think they are a set of 12.  They aren't glass though. They resembled VPH products.

@Nonametoday  Actually our's s is also in the kitchen over the kitchen table!  The whole chandelier is smoke grey,  matches the larger one we have in the dinning room which can be seen from the kitchen.  May I ask where you purchased your crystal chain?

fyi: in my store they are in the aisle with all the silver tinsel and silvery decor. I just happened to see them & open to check them because I loved VPH idea...although I don't have a chandelier.  I was curious why they were so much more less than VPH.  I have her glass ones but no longer have chandelier so I use fishing line and hang  them in my front windows.

Valerie's crystal swags are very nice. They are heavy and well made. I have a bunch of them.

Re: Crystal swags for chandelier

I did this over the last five years . I love VPH crystal swags and drops. I used both on my chandelier in the entry. On the ones in the kitchen and dining room I used her "autumn" swags and drops and looks beautiful! (These are from years ago and I haven't seen them since.) I think the clear would look fine with the smoke color.

I haven't seen any crystal from VPH so far but it usually is later in the season. I did find a few crystal swags on HSN a couple years back but not so far this year.
