Hi gals! (((((Waving madly & hugs all around!!))))) Im so excited to have found you again! Thank you Krimpette for starting this thread. I hope we can keep it going. I was so sad when i discovered they had thrown us out of the forums - whoever decided to get rid of the subforums should be fired, what were they thinking not giving the Wen, Philosophy, etc people a place to discuss their favorite things!?!? I see they finally brought back some of the brand subforums under "My favorite things" at the top of the list of forums.
I have been having fun creating cards with the Anna Griffin Playful Pieces card kit. What a fun kit! I am excited for July 1st. Anna has been previewing items on her last two blogs & she has some great things as usual. She has even made some videos for HSN to show us in advance how to use the new things.
My mom has a greatgranddaughter graduating from high school so i brought some Anna supplies over & she made her own card. She really enjoyed creating her own card to send to her ggd :-) so maybe we will make some Christmas cards together.
Are we going to keep going in the "Home" section or switch to Community? If we are voting, i vote for Home since that was our previous location & it is less busy so we might more easily find crafting threads. It is my understanding that threads are listed by popularity (hearts!), then date so we might have to scroll a little to find our little group!
Well, i am going to "heart" you all since i am so happy to "see" you again!

My little dog wasn't sleeping very well this a.m. I had the t.v. on low volume, but found these adult coloring books. I got up and ordered them (not Q stuff). I'll thoroughly enjoy this. I can handle that craft now. It's on HSN two more times today if you're interested in this. A number of reviews mention women who get them for their elderly mom's and they both do this together and visit. Some are in assisted living or a nursing home. Just a thought!!

There are a couple of craft shows (maybe 3?) on HSN tomorrow (6/23). Just wanted to give a heads up. Sorry I don't have the times at hand.

3 am, 4 am and 10 am EST. I just came to see if this was posted. They are all clearance shows.
I vote for us staying here in the home category. Maybe because many years ago, there were a lot of unkind people who hated the crafters. Not sure it's still like that but just in case. The home people are really nice so I think we should stay where we were before. That's just my vote. I will try to find you wherever I can!

I believe I first posted on this revamped format under the Home section, as I was thinking that's where Scrapbooking used to be under the old format. And that's also where it's at on HSN'S forums. Works for me! Hope more crafters find us! (So far, haven't found anything to tempt me on these HSN clearance shows today, but I'm going to review things later, after I get back from my exercise class. I try to support HSN's craft shows as much as I can....even if it's just an item or two.)

I never knew these existed! They look like fun. Would like to find one in a book store to check out the paper & designs. Or maybe order the ones from Amazon. Thank you Quality Gal!

I got the set of coloring books offered by HSN (they've sold out both times that they were presented). The paper quality is excellent and the pages have perforation so that they can be easily removed from the book. A lot of the designs are super-intricate, so I'm not sure when I'll tackle them. Right now, I'm working on butterflies. Very relaxing...but I always loved to color as a child! I'm sure the ones on Amazon are equally good, as they all seem to have great reviews.

Hi Ladies,
Just stopped back to say, my hubbie saw and heard how interested I was in doing this coloring books thing. HSN has just sent my order out, but hubbie stopped at hobby store and got me a book and colored pencils. He is nice that way. (It'll keep me quiet too! LOL).
So I'm working on my second one today. Stopped at B&N and got one "Paisley Designs". That's next. He got me one with peacocks on each page. It looks like stained glass. When I am out and about I will get more coloring pens and pencils. I get all y other stuff done first than, chill out and just work on the book. It's really nice. I can't say I need it to reduce tension, but they do say that for those that I think, need to relax and maybe slow their pace down. It would work, if you'd do it at that pace.
I do now think that it's best to stop in and see at the store (B & N) just which onces(type) appeals to you.
The lady at the store said, "these are so popular!!" There you go.
As a kid I liked to color, after I did fancy designs for myself, then colored them in. So this really is something from childhoood I've always enjoyed.

QualityGal, I'm trying to understand but are these coloring books for adults? Do any of you ever stamp the detailed stamps and color those for cards and scrapbooking? I have friends who do cards with the most beautiful coloring on it and I have to admit, it intimidates me. I just can't see being that good at it. I admit, I don't have much patience for it but if you can do it, I so admire you! I was just wondering what this was about as I have not seen these books or heard of them until this thread.

mewsmomtoo, I gave you a heart back since you were so kind to do that to us! LOL! I don't know if I will ever catch onto this new format but then again, QVC has changed these boards so many times over the years. I never think I will get used to any of them and then just as I do, they seem to change them again. Oh well, I just wanted to tell you why I gave you a heart. I was honestly worried nobody would show up to post anymore since the craft section was gone so trust me, I'm very happy to see you too!
I've noticed since they started keeping post counts (they didn't always), mine seem to go way down with every new change. I'm always going to look like a newbie with my teeny tiny amount of posts.
