They just posted on Facebook they are closing their doors after almost 60 years.  I am so sad to hear this.  Always ordered from them and wanted to get some new curtains for the winter.  They are having a Friends and Family sale that ends today, so I am going to place an order.  They said they could not keep up with changes in on line and retail shopping.  I especially liked that they had a special category for Made in the USA.

CC were the first curtains I purchased for our log home 38 years ago. I think I used them for 20 years and when we replaced our windows, I just didn't put them back up. I always liked getting their catalogs in the mail.

This is sad news for me. The windows in my whole house have Country Curtains on them. They were a go to store fore my mom and for me. Everything changes, sigh.☹️

Oh that's sad. Their products and customer service were always top-notch and of quality. The family tried to keep going after the founders died, but the stockholders wanted to liquidate to get some value out of it or else there would be nothing left.  :-(  350 people will lose their jobs, too.

Re: Country Curtains is closing

Boy, am I sorry to hear that. My front window has to have custom drapes. And I was going to try Country Curtain. They opened a store near me about 2 years ago. I was going to go in and talk to them about getting drapes.

I really don't need them now. I was just thinking of the future. Because I don't know anywhere else that does custom drapes. Maybe I should go in a see if they will make them. I can always store the drapes away until I need them.

Thanks for the heads-up...I just placed an order with Country Curtains. I have enjoyed doing business with this company for many years.  So sad they are closing their doors and the employees are losing their jobs.

So sad on many points.  I always liked CC and had many of their curtains in my home through the years..  Seems like it is just a sign of the times.  .
