Beautiful! I just wouldn't want to pay the heating bill. It would seem the thick walls would give off the coolness from the evenings to keep it cool in the summer.
Really interesting @lolakimono. Thanks!

I love the little dog. How does he manage those stairs?

I like large, old homes, but this is a bit too rustic for me.

They say, don't knock it till you've tried it. LOL
Love what I see in those pictures.

@lolakimono You've outdone yourself with these photos Ms Lola! I had to come back to this this morning and look at more of this lovely place. If I ever win the lottery THIS is where I'm settling in. This place, everything about it is absolutely stunning.
Have you ever seen the movie "Under The Tuscan Sky"? I love this movie mostly because I'm a romantic sap. It's a lovely movie, see it if you get the chance. This so reminds me of this movie.
Bucket List in my heart for sure.

Love it and could even share it with the nuns. So beautiful!

No I couldn't, but would love to tour one that was transformed. I marvel at the unique ideas that some people have for these things.

The outside setting is gorgeous & the powdery blue sky just makes it complete. Just need an adirondack chair to kick back in & just relax.

One thing that bothers me is......I like to go barefoot in the house. Socks sometimes. No shoes. Ever.
I feel like my feet would be filthy on the bottom because all the floors looks so .... dirty.
I want something I can dustmop (no swiffers for me), or steam mop or use my Bona system.
But it is beautiful.
The floors all appear to be very old & well worn tiles, bricks, and wood. Very typical for this part of the world and the age of the building which could be 200-300 years old or possibly older. Looks clean to me so maybe you're thinking the old worn out look is dirty.
Then my answer would be a definite *NO* as I could not live in a house with 200-300 year old floors.
Again, I like to go barefoot. Filthy feet are, well, filthy.
I want the luxury of getting into bed without having to scrub my feet clean every time.
I don't even want to have to think about it!
