Re: Could You Live in a Convent?

It's gorgeous.  I love Tuscany.

I would happily visit for extended times but I will never live outside of the United States again.

I am currently living exactly where I would like to be and my home is precisely the way I want it.   I would not rellinquish it completely for any other living arrangement.

This place would be tempting though.

Re: Could You Live in a Convent?

This reminds me of the movie Under the Tuscan Sun where Diane Lane purchases a Tuscan villa and renovates it.  This is beautiful!  I could live there very easily!  Land of my ancestors!  ❤

Re: Could You Live in a Convent?

Yes, I could live there.  It would be a great second home.  I have family who live in Scotland and have a house in Tuscany and one in Florida.

they said I could visit their home in Tuscany with or without them.  I have never been there, but I heard it is beautiful.  I'd love to find out.

Re: Could You Live in a Convent?

It's beautiful.

One thing that bothers me is......I like to go barefoot in the house.  Socks sometimes.  No shoes.  Ever.

I feel like my feet would be filthy on the bottom because all the floors looks so .... dirty.

I want something I can dustmop (no swiffers for me), or steam mop or use my Bona system.

But it is beautiful.

Re: Could You Live in a Convent?

That building is SOOOO old, & that's fine. But can you imagine all the leftover energy in that place? I could never live with that. Yes, that also includes the energy from the nuns. I went to private schools, & had the nun experience. No thank you!
