Costco Membership

Is an Executive Membership worth the added expense? We originally had the Basic membership. We joined when we had three children in diapers. It saved us a lot of money. Then, our twins needed to supplement with formula, and we kept going. Then, we got a very expensive prescription added to our budget for one of our household family members every three months, so we bumped up to the Executive membership, since "they pay you cash back". Sounded great at the time. Then we received our rebate check (less than the cost of the Basic membership) and when we renewed, we went back to the Basic membership. We were told that we can upgrade again to Executive if we like. I am wondering if it is really would be worth it. We don't do all of our shopping there. We get lots of cereal, laundry detergent, and fresh fruit. Thanks! We are thinking about getting a new TV and a laptop, but we haven't seen a Toshiba laptop there.
