Cordless rechargeable Sharp Vacume

Anyone know why it would suddenly stop picking up?  sounds good ,running but suction seems to be gone  Smiley Sad   only 1 year old

I had just cleaned it all up and was vacuming up spilled birdseed (not a usual thing) and noticed it was shooting out instead of staying in the cup. now It doesn't seem to be picking up anything as the dust thingy is always empty

@MalteseMomma  have you checked the filter?  It might be clogged or so dirty it's affecting the suction.  I don't have a cordless, but my shark has a filter on it that I clean with water every so often and then let air dry before using.

That may be the reason for the loss of suction if the motor seems to be running as before.

Re: Cordless rechargeable Sharp Vacume

the filters probably need cleaning then replacing.

my Shark TruPet says to clean the filters monthly.

there are 3 of them I got a new set,  I had cleaned 2 of the 3 before but the 3rd was black.

with 3 new filters it performed like new

so try that,

you could get a new set from Amz easily

we have a shark rocket and i had same problem and checked owners manual and realized it had filters and just rinse with warm water and let them dry and all your power will be back. good luck.
