It has been raining nonstop here - I am getting so frustrated!  We have two dogs and try as I might they can't help but track in dirt and grass bits.  I want a day to throw open the windows, clean and vacuum EVERYTHING and let some fresh air in!  Where is Spring?  BTW I am in SE VA.

I understand!  We have been getting rain for so long that my backyard is like a quagmire! I have two older dogs and have “inherited” a 7 month old Yorkie who is not totally housebroken.  My carpet will never be the same after tracking in all the dirt, mud and trash.  The rain has stopped for a day or two, so I’m hopeful I can get things cleaned up before the next round of rain.  I’m in central Arkansas.

We've had record rains this year in the DC area.

However, I am happy that I don't have to shovel rain ;o)

We need the trees to leaf out and start soaking up some of this rain!

I'm north and probably west of you and I agree, things are nasty.  I was walking my dog the other day and I got sucked down in the mud and fell onto a pile of snow (twisting my leg in the process).

When he goes in the back yard, it's a process to clean him of all the mud between his toes, and on his legs, and on his underbelly before he can come back in.  My carpet is looking worse for the wear.

I'd like to have a section of fence installed in the yard but it's too wet.

Even if the rain slacks up, it's not going to be dry 'til summer.  Spring usually brings rain, though.  Flooding is a very real concern.

I wish you well!

The lawn won't be able to be cut if it doesn't dry up.  The mower will just tear up the grass and mud.  Some areas feel like living in a swamp.

I’m hoping for a 3 month drought this summer. We need it!

My woe is SNOW!  Over 33 inches in FEBRUARY alone.  We have had to have our driveway cleared out by our hired snowblower guy 7 times already.  $$$$$  Yikes!

I saw pictures from friends in Knoxville.  The southern rain is causing lots of damage.  We have snow and the high winds today.  Can't look out the window as snow is stuck in the screens and windows.  Spring will be here eventually.

It has rained and been gloomy in Georgia for just about two weeks straight,  but, after storms and heavy rain early this Morning,  the sun is out and there’s not a cloud in the sky.

I’ve never been so happy to see anything in my life, LOL.  It’s uplifting.   The gloom gets to me after awhile.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
