I too love color but am better understanding the perspetive that favors a calm and tranquil space for bedrooms... I like this room as it is, but it woud also work with a reasonable additional infustion of subtle color... In no way does this room, to me, need 'brights' to be appealing....

There are a few items on the bed that appear gray to me. I'd replace them with something more colorful. Oh, I'd want a smaller lamp base too.

I recently replaced darker silk draperies with white wool ones and it changed the whole look of the room.  I don't know that I like it better, but it does feel a bit more relaxed.

I find it very soothing but I would add a little gold or mustard yellow to the mix.

I'm moving in! I could even live with that bizarre bed.  I love the fabric on it.

I would love it if it had wood floors. It needs contrast. I know I am in the minority, but I do not like doors that lead outside or a balcony in the bedroom. When I was looking at houses it was a deal breaker for me.

Beautiful Bedroom...not bland at all to me. I find it soothing, restful, and pleasant.

The room is too formal for me and drapes are a no for me in any room.

That looks just like our bed - except for the feet.   I love when drapes are hung all the way up to the ceiling. 

I love the room.  The only thing I would change are the lamps.
