Are the chairs too low for the table?  I like the chairs but the table seems too heavy of a look for those chairs.

that's very casually formal.  I guess what we call the New Formal, the new look-alikes made from "other woods."  These chairs look like traditional slipper chairs with shrouds,  not upholstery, meant to be tossed into the washer or cleaned with that stain remover in case of wine stains or food.  It's a brilliant idea.

The only thing wrong with this room is the empty wine glasses.

Love the table, white chairs while dinning just dont seem practical...and just a bit too much white for me overall for the room.
