I know where you're coming from. I never thought I would buy a light couch.  In the past I stuck to mid to darker colors  because of grandchildren and the dog. The grandchildren are grown now and after our last dog, DH didn't want the responsibility of another dog. I think what finally convinced me is my daughter bought a lighter couch and her corgi naps on it a lot with no problem.  She's a big believer in Scotchguard!  My last dog was trained to ask for a blanket before he got on the couch and he would stand and stare at his corner till I got it!

My daughter chose sunbrella fabric for her almost white sofas.

She has 2 chhildren, dogs and the usual family issues.

I think the fabric is a little stiff but it works for her since she wanted light color sofas

Love the curtains. I think you'll have a very comfortable room to enjoy.
