I have a bowl sink similar to this only it is clear glass. The faucet doesn’t splash at all and it works just like any other sink.

Those sinks are very pretty.  When we were in Vietnam, many of our hotels had those types of sinks.  They look really nice. Some are works of art.

I wouldn't not want one in my home though, they splash water everywhere.  The counter was always wet.

Pretty for an Asian designed home.  Impractical for a main bathroom.  ETA, maybe not if there are no kids, no careless people using it.

It's lovely but not very practical. I could even overlook the Asian-Zen flavor, neither of which I'm a fan of, but I can see the chips flying now the first time something heavy falls on or into that sink...

I don't care for sinks like this.  Don't like the prints (never look clean to me) and I don't like sinks that sit above the counter.
