Colorful Condo...

[ Edited ]

One of my pet peeves with magazine publishers is those that manage more than one title tend to use the same features in various of their magazines, which, let's face it, are no longer inexpensive. I like some of the rooms featured here, but am pretty sure I've seen them at least once and more likely twice or more in various articles... Anyway. these are excerpted from an item about a pretty beachside condo...

The dining niche, which adjoins the living room... I really love the drop front desk, Windsor chairs, table and settee. I also like the fact that the 'beachy' feel is minimal...

Lovely sideboard and yellow vases... I like the yellow and blue combination...

Stylish, bright and crisp bathroom, though I might have chosen a different wall covering...

One of the guest rooms. I like the beds and bedding, don't like the wallpaper...

I think this is the master. Not a fan of pencil post beds and, in fact, not a fan of most of these elements...

It's nice to see some color instead of all neutral rooms, but I'm not really loving these spaces. I'm not a wallpaper fan, and most of the prints they selected just aren't for me.

Normally, I like built-ins with shelves, but these kind of look like they were just stuck on the wall. Maybe another shelf or cabinet inbetween, instead of the yellow seat, would look better.

I like the sideboard, but the pieces on it are too symmetrical. I also like the large counter space, cabinets, and vanity area in the bathroom, but I don't like the mirrors, wallpaper, or pink stool.

I like green, but I wouldn't choose the patterns or wallpaper in the green bedroom. I'm not loving the headboards either. The neutral wall color in the last bedroom is fine, but I don't care for the colors or prints in the space.

I LOVE the pink vanity stool. If I knew where to find it, I'd buy it.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Actually looks like someones favorite things for their condo!! Not my cup of tea but it shouldn't be!!! altho I have to say---does anyone really set their dining room table just for every day decor??  I am not a fan. I know it's for a mag shoot . My realtor wanted me to do the same for my diningoom table during open houses and I said no--I put a centerpiece on it like normal. It sold it 2 days--without a set table!

@wagirl - our house sold immediately in January and it was totally empty.

@gidgetgh  That's the way I bought my house and that's the way I will sell it when the time comes.

I don't care for this condo and its furnishings and decor.  I do like wallpaper but not what is in these rooms.  I would make changes with the art work also.  Not for me.

@gidgetgh

I've seen similar at Home Goods . Their furniture resembles pieces from Frontgate ,  Neiman  Marcus , Grandin Road

This condo is just OK for me. I don't care for the decor in any of the rooms with the exception of the sideboard area...I like the blue and yellow. It's different.
