Love the room but would put a rug down and change the furnture to suit my taste.

@jubilant  The room is just ok to me, but who sits in the middle of the sofas?  No one.  The sofas are too big and a chair or two is needed.

The sofas are out of place.  They look modern.  Corduroy sofas in dark brown or something similar would work much better.

I do like this space but am not a fan of Colonial. I don't see much Colonial in this room and the space lacks warmth..I need greenery and the rug is not a color I would choose.

The windows and fireplace are lovely. The creamy off white paint color is very pretty.

I love the windows and the fireplace, very pretty, but I don't care for the furnishings......I definitely would have to replace that rug....

This is a very nice living room even though it is not quite my style.  I'd make a few tweaks (different chair by the fireplace and the coffee table).

Overall, I like this room. I’m not sure how colonial it looks though. I love the architecture, windows, & fireplace. Since the walls are light I would choose sofas in a darker color. These sofas look really long. I’d prefer something shorter & add a couple of upholstered cozy chairs.
