Do you have collectibles displayed in your home?
I have a corner curio cabinet in my living room for collectibles. My aunt left me her glass animal collection when she passed away. She knew my love for animals, and I always enjoyed looking at her collection. Some date back to the 1930s.
I also have some some bells in the cabinet. Family and friends started buying me bells when I was a teen. I’ve always liked the sound of bells. I like to find very unique & different kinds of bells. I haven’t bought a new one in years.

Heavens yes. I collect vintage glassware, mainly Depression glass and kitchenware. Its all over the house. Last year DD visited and said Mother, you might have a hoarding problem. So I looked up hoarders and learned there are like four or five stages. All of them involved animals and animal waste. I don't have any animals, so I guess I'm off the hook.

I have pared down a lot of my collectibles but kept some favorites. I have a display cabinet in my living room with some limoges boxes and a couple of Lladro figuries.
In my office I have a baker's rack with some old cookie jars. I used to collect them.

I have one full of precious moments. I also have some of the crystal owl pieces.
I should get all the boxes in the attic & box all the precious moments. I don't need them. Don't know what to do with them.
Nobody else probably wants them either.
They make precious moments different now. I don't care for them.
People today don't buy stuff like that. I have not bought stuff like that in years.
I also have several Fenton pieces which I really like so I will be keeping those.
I forgot I used to collect owls. I have well over 100. I have the in storage tubs now. I got tired of dusting them every week.

I collected the Gone With The Wind plates from Franklin Mint years ago. they're in our dining room.
The candle molds are from the early 1800's forward. The tall one, right back was from a church.

@depglass Do you eat off of your depression glass? I have a few plates, always planned to put together enough to serve on, just never did. Also, I liked so many colors. I finally settled on green a lot,....sort of! The depression champagne glasses on top of the jelly server in my picture, this thread, belonged to my step grandmother whom was such a dear.

I do!
I have a high shelf around my dining room walls, with Rowe pottery and Longaberger baskets alternated. I have a shelving unit in the family room that displays my Tom Clark collection of figures. I have several other collections, many that are usable for every day life (Pyrex and Corningware and Temp-tations).
I enjoy the things I collect, have eliminated some collections over the years, and have culled some of the collections to just a few, like what is left of my teddy bears, down to just the antique looking ones, and less than half what I once had.
