Who has a real clock in their kitchen?  My mom always did and so do I.  Doing a little rearranging and noticed I never see clocks in home decor photos anymore.  Just wondering... It is such a habit looking at it we would probably be lost without it LOL.

I no longer have a wall clock since there is a digital clock visible on both the oven and the microwave.

I do! I wouldn't want to do without one.

Also, it doesn't fall victim to power outages the way the stove and microwave do...  Smiley Very Happy

To add, I have a clock/alarm/landline phone next to the bed plus one on the DVD player.

And living room has clock/cd player and a mantle clock in the bookshelf.

Even though the microwave and my phone has the time, I still have a traditional clock hanging in the kitchen, and another one in our family room. I still look at the clocks to check the time. Old person, old habits, I guess.

We used to have a wall clock in the kitchen, but it was above a shelf and one of our cats found the second hand irresistable, so that had to go.  Now we have a mantle clock on said shelf.  I also look at it constantly, and whenever the battery runs down, it gets replaced immediately.

In the living room we use the LED clock on the tv cable box.  Another reason I can't give up cable!

Also clocks in the hall and of course the bedroom.

It probably is generational, plus I rather like looking at a clock.

In fact I have been resisting buying a MacKenzie-Childs mantle clock for some time now.

I have four mantle clocks that I rotate around the living and dining rooms.   Three of them chime which I love to hear.  I have a large walnut antique Seth Thomas clock in storage in the garage that I'll give to a niece if I can figure out how to ship it 1800 miles.

I love clocks with character.

I've never had a clock in a kitchen because I've always had an oven with a clock display.  I do keep a clock in both the bathroom and office.  The one in the office seems sort of redundant considering every digital device has a built-in clock, but I find it easier to glance at the non-digital clock on the bookshelf than the small digital display on my device.
