I really like this room decorated in Christmas red. I always like to see red used in holiday decorations. I love the tree and other decorations. Looks like a real home. Love the lived in cozy look. There are no major changes needed for me. 🄰

Beautiful room!  Love the decorations.

I don't "get" those high windows.....wouldn't want to dust those sills or clean the glass!

Not a fan of a 2 story house, but I do like the room and especially the use of red.

@alicedee.  Those are called clerestory windows and are very big in Southwest architecture.  Here's a little info on their purpose.

How do clerestory windows work?
Because they are placed high up compared to other windows, clerestories can deliver sunlight far deeper into a living space than normal vertical glazing. Their main function is twofold: they deliver extra daylighting and they provide a method of heating thermal mass in north walls which would normally be in shade

I always worry that my house is too cluttered, until I see some of these rooms.  However, I do like the hutch and the afghan.

Magenta and aqua/turquoise say Christmas to me because when I was growing up that's what mother did--on a flocked white tree.

Mother always marched to her own drummer.   I love that I see this color combination a lot in lighting in our area.
