Starting to set the mood for Christmas in July!  pinky

Hi pinky, wow, this is great.  I'm so happy you can post pics now.  Did you use the mountain one  or what?  I am enjoying a cool, rainy day here in SE Missouri.

Pinky, is this your cat?  We have a dog, a Yorkie.  I see now that is a stock photo, right?

Hi Pinky and Lucy:  Love the pics.  We are in the 90s in South Florida.  Hot and humid down here.  I'll be welcoming CIJ for sure.

SHOPR, I haven't been online all day, and just saw your post. I'm glad one of my tips worked anyway. In the beauty forum, I only saw one thread when I tried to float a thread in that forum. Here in the home forum, I saw the same double thread after I'd posted here about it, and just forgot about it.

Hope everyone's had a good day. I didn't feel great today, and the meds I had put me to sleep. I noticed no headache being off the forums, so I still have that bug to work out. pinky

I hope you are feeling better today, Pinky.

I just tried to float this thread again, and ended up with two copies of it on the main home forum page.  So, again, I've un-floated it.  It isn't like this forum is all that busy anyway, but I can see where the feature could be handy when CIJ rolls around, that is, if it will stop duplicating threads.

Is that your black and white kitty in your pic?  If so, he or she is a beauty.

Hey MTH, I am definately a warm weather lover but today is a nice change.  Pinky posted the snow pics and yes, I am looking ahead to CIJ.  She is an enabler, for sure.  Soon all we have are enablers and a lot of credit cardswill be smoking.  Woman LOL

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

Hi Lucy, SHOPR, MTH, and anyone I may have missed!

The pictures are  from our house and yard. There are tons of trees here, and they're so pretty when they're snow covered like that.

Lucy, That's our cat Rocky. He's the middle one of three. The cabinet is a family piece, kind if a workbench, that my grandpa made long before I was born. The pitcher my sister gave me when trying to pare down a few years ago.

Rock's been crazy about both pieces, and loves all the tissue and boxes when I'm changing decorations around. All the kitties do. I love that picture of him, and thought it very fitting for the home forum.

I think I'm heading out to Macy's big sale today, so I'll check posts when I get home if I do go. Too bad I can't enable.... I mean help, yeah... help that's right.. from the mall, but I'll be sure to do my best as we get closer to CIJ!  Later! pinky

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

You gals are really early shoppers/preparers.  I only have ribbon and tissue paper.  As I work/volunteer at a place where we cannot acknowlegde the holiday, just the season, I have to buy non-holiday, non-denominational items.  No reminders of the whole idea.  It can be a challenge so I just buy as if it's a birthday of sort.
