Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

I have to say that I like the layout of this forum a lot better in Foxfire than I do in IE.  So, I'll probably be using that from now on.  It's way better.  Woman Frustrated

Hmm.  I'm using Google Chrome and while I think I'm getting it set up the way I want, it is still a bit time consuming to sit and work on this.  I will check out Firefox and see if its any different. Thanks for the tip Lucy

I haven't tried Chrome, just Foxfire and IE.  I hate the layout in IE.  I will adjust to this though.

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

Hi Gang! Just wanted to post these two tips I picked up this morning. To find the thread easier, there's a place on the left side of the page with topic options. If you scroll down, you'll see "float this thread to the top". It keeps the thread at the top of the page.

If you want to get to the newest post in a thread quickly, click on the time of the lastest post, and it should take you right to it.

I tried the first tip, and it works! I've not tried the second yet, but will later on. I keep gettin a headache if I'm on here to long now. I've adjusted the brightness of my screen, but have to try something else as it doesn't look right.

I tried to post a picture earlier, and could get it to post. I did an image from online on Monday that worked fine. This morning I tried one of my own photos with no luck. Any tips? I tried what mousiegirl had posted if that helps... pinky

Hi pinky, I just copied and pasted  that pic of the ribbon.  There was a few bugs that were different from before but it finally showed up.  Have you tried to simply c/p on here?  We'll all get this figured out together.  I tried Firefox and it works better for me than IE.  Some are using Google Chrome and it works for them.  I tried that CTRL & V didn't work for me, so I just kept trying the c/p method.  I don't know if it will work next time.  Woman EmbarassedWoman Embarassed

Lucy, Cut and paste worked fine. I tried it Monday afternoon in Among Frinds. I just can't get a picture from my own albums to post. Maybe there's a trick to it that I don't know? pinky

I tried yesterday also, pinky, and I am unable to get access to "My Photos" from my Dell computer to here, something about a box in the toolbar which does not show up for me.  I wish the powers that be would attend to this issue, because I really want to post some of my own pictures, aside from those that I copy and past from other sites.
