JPC is reading our posts and laughing uncontrolably at us being silly. lol  Well, I did cave and order the carolers cloche.  I'll use my large cloche and make a church one.  What are you leaning toward?

Hey lucy,

I am watching you.  My mommie told me not to hang out with people like you.  LOL.  You can get me in some big trouble.   But I have found there are a few just like you on this forum.  Love the cloches this year especially the size.

Hope the timer works this year and if not be sure to try it backwards before sending it back.

Enjoy the shows today

JPC

Hey JPC, now you show up after MTH and I have already gone and ordered stuff.  We hoped you'd talk some sense into us, but, oh well, too late.  LOL  Did you get anything?  Cloche?  I got the carolers and the church.  I decided not to get the reindeer since I have so many already.  It's raining here in Mo today so good day for watching Christmas shows.

Hi lucy.."talk some sense into you and MTH,"  what a laugh. That would be like talking to Mr Crazy sometimes, in one ear and out the other.

I did weaken and ordered the church cloche but really liked the GB house.  I did fix up one last year with a white house and some trees and lights so cancelled the church and decided to get the GB house instead.  Figured I could use the Cloche I had used last year for the GB one on something else.  I had used the mini lights in it last year and had to keep changing batteries so now I won't have to worry about it.  I can use the mini GB house I used it in last year around on the table with the trees and other minis I had around it.    LOL    I love the idea of the smaller cloche.  If I hadn't gotten the snowman from last year, that one would be coming to my house too.

I told MTH I WAS NOT going to order one this year.  So till someone talks some sense into me, I am of no use to anyone here.  LOL    See, if you talk to yourself long enough, you can talk yourself into anything

JPC

JPC, MTH and I always listen to you, we just don't always follow your advice.  lol   I'm glad you treated yourself to a cloche.  I intended to just get one but couldn't decide between the church and carolers.  The GB one is pretty but I donated all of my GB collection to our Gospel Mission this year.  I'd used it for several years.  I had a lot of it.

lucy..Story of my life, no one listens to me, boohoo.  Oh I don't know how you got rid of all your GB items.  Love them but I have just been using them for about 3 or 4 years so not tired of them yet.  You made good choices on the ones you did get.  Love the carolers too.

I had been using mine for a long time.  Several years ago, I added Valerie's red peppermint trees and then she brought in the green ones.  I had the gumdrop ones and some from other sources and lots of houses, large and small, lots of people, some VPH and others.  I think there's a few houses still in storage, from BBW and VPH's fabric GB family.  I just decided to do something different.  I wish I could have given them to you.  About the cloches, I bought LR one and three from HL so wish I could have just ordered the scene insert and used my cloches, but I'll do something in them and maybe share with my Gdaughter.  I, like someone else on here said, I went cloche crazy.  lol

I know what you are saying about too many cloches but I don't have this size so hey why not.  That is my story and I am sticking to it.  Maybe she will bring in the change of seasons for us later on since your or someone mentioned it to her on FB.  That would be great.  Another reason I bought the little on cause my luck she would do the seasonal for the little one and I wouldn't have it.  Even another reason.   Boy I am coming up with them right and left.  Good reason to buy these.

But I am not enabling  LOL

Edited to add that I would have loved to go thru your GB items.

JPC

You're good.  I like your reasoning and we can all learn from you.  :-)

Just stick with me lucy, I can come up with a reason for anything and it always sounds good even if it isn't.  LOL.  We can all share one big room at the poor house and enjoy each others decorations.

Enjoy the shows tonight.  Will be starting soon for us.

I'm gonna make a mad dash for home so I can catch most of the show.  Gotta get that glass of wine ready, which of course will bring down my guard in terms of purchasing....Hmmm

Hi Everyone,

I have a confession *bows head in shame*...

As you all know, I have been stomping my feet for the past several months about not needing anymore decor for the next few years...even after I reorganized the decor in our basement just a few weeks ago. I kept saying I'm satisfied...no desire for anymore...need more spheres like another hole in my head too...HA!

EVEN stating a few days ago that the cloche is 'not my cup of tea'...

Oh the shame Woman Embarassed

Here goes...

I couldn't decide between the church and carolers TSV, so I got both (like Lucymo) and I ordered 2 sets of the 'silver' H205281 spheres.

The TSV grew on me the longer I watched the presentations and I began to realize the silver spheres will look great mixed with the MG spheres and for soft lighting around vignettes.

Lordy Be, I hope I don't cut off the circulation in my hands when I try and sit on them during the rest of VPH's shows today Woman Tongue

It's ok, Susan Louise, we all understand how that happens.  I just took stock of Christmas decor yesterday afternoon and decided that I didn't need to buy anything and then without hesitation, I ordered two TSV.  I did, however, not buy the reindeer.  I've been eyeing the same spheres that tempted you to buy.  I did a basket of pinecones with spheres last year and it was so pretty.  I don't know if I'll cave or not on these. They look wonderful.

We are a sad bunch!!

Yes, MTH, we are a sad bunch.  But, you know something, this bunch always makes for a good time while we shop.  I love it.  Woman Happy

MTH, don't drink too much wine or you may be surprised at what purchases show up on your porch.  I'm bad enough sober let alone with too much to drink.  lol

Good Evening Q Shoppers! You've been a busy bunch! lol I'm glad, as it sounds like you've had a great time shopping. I watched for awhile, but didn't trust myself to continue for long. I may try to watch Valerie's show that's just started, but I have to keep in mind what we haven't yet gotten out at the store yet. I don't need one thing! I have to remember that.... sigh.... Shop on gals!  pinky

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

So far I haven't bought a thing today. Not liking the same old same old. Also I have so many Christmas items I bought last CIJ and during Valerie's and Lisa's shows, I have more than enough. I hope those that bought the TSV love it.

I'm already starting to cave. I actually really like the snowballs that are the OTO.  Better put this glass down quick. I hope Susan's helmet has a double strap.
