Christmas Cabin

[ Edited ]

I’m not really fond of cabins, but I think this space looks festive. I prefer red & green in my holiday decorations, but in this setting the white & pale colors with the silver & gold give a very homey wintry vibe to the space. Lots of trees in this room, but I think the different sizes & placements work. I really dislike all the animal heads and antlers.

Other opinions?

I dislike all the antlers as well.  The rest is pretty, although not my prefered style.  Those twigs on the coffee table might put someones eye out howeverSmiley Happy

I'd need more color like green and red,

And definitely no animal parts!

ETA: And why is that tall ladder leaning againt the wall in this living space?

Too crowded with branches, trees and pillows.  Lacks warmth which should be #1 in a cabin.  A rug on the floor would help.

Looks like a room a hunting family would live with very happily.  No one in my family hunted, but many of my friends' homes had evidence of hunting success on their walls.

With the exception of the antlers, I think the room is very festive!  I would not have white couches though, that is where I would add color and possibly prints.

I had  friends who had log cabins as their summer homes and they were so cozy and comfortable. I visited my best friend at her family cabin at Christmas and the tree was tall and full.  The cabin had heat and was able to be used all year. It truly was a country Christmas feeling.

I love cabins and I love this one.

I wouldn't change a thing.

This room has so much potential, if they'd only known when to stop. Too many trees, too many antlers, (whether real or not), awful and trite coffee table and needing just a little color. The biggest thing, lose the antlers and it would still be appealing, overall.

I like cabins.  I think the couch and pillows are pretty and one tree.  I don't see the need for all of those trees.  The antlers need to go.
