I'm a big fan of SelectBlinds.com. Free samples of any shade or blind, any color shipped to your door. You get a lot if home shopping by using the samples to get accurate ideas about what you're buying. 

This company provides excellent detailed instructions on how to measure your windows and specific notes on what to do about incremental measurements and what to know about their manufacturing so you get what you want even though you're ordering online.

Very high quality products and a wide variety of looks, colors, materials, price ranges.

Fast manufacturing and shipping, easy installation guidance, and superb customer service to make sure you are satisfied. They want people like me to recommend them by making my window project cost effective and successful. 

On the downside, I found their constant outreach by frequent emails for promotions and purchase stimulation to be intrusive. They have loads of promos going on all of their product lines, so once you find what you want, the price will be quite acceptable.

I recently purchased some beautiful blinds from Select Blinds dot com.  They had someone to speak to to help through the process and they came out perfect!

@bargainsgirl,  just to add another one to the mix, we've ordered cellular shades several times through Home Depot, and have been thrilled with the result.  I'm always nervous with measuring, getting dimensions right, etc., and each time they got the shade perfect for each window, which are of different sizes.  Huge relief.

I went through Costco to buy my shutters and was very pleased with the quality and price; the brand is Graber and they sell many other types of shades, blinds, etc. I did get one shade for my patio door and it is excellent. They also offer rebates so I got $475 cash back on one of my orders.

I think you can expect to get emails, promos, etc. anywhere you buy your blinds. The best you can do is just unsubscribe.
