My Shark steam mop has a carpet-glider attachment for steam refreshing. I use it on my carpets and also on my mattress. The glider piece makes it easy to slide it across fabric or carpeted floors. The steam kills germs and takes away odors.

I know what you are talking about.  You don't use shampoo.  It's only water and you moisten the rug area and then it sucks up the dirty water.   I own the shampooer which you clean the rug area with water/shampoo and then the machine sucks up the dirty water.  I prefer mine but everyone has their preference.

@Katcat1 ...we are not talking about the same item....what I am talking about is similar to a hand held steamer but a 'stick' style.....it is to refresh the carpet....the only water is steam, similar to hand held.

Thanks @SilleeMee ....that is what I am looking for......I will look at the Shark steam mops when I can get to a larger area - not much in my area except Walmart.
