My poor dog! Every time the Carbon Monoxide alarm is presented I have to hurry up and mute it. His tail goes down and he shakes. I'm so glad they sell them to raise awareness about how dangerous it is but does anyone else have pets that react when they show this?

My dog does the same thing when we either test or replace batteries in our smoke detectors or carbon monoxide. I take him outside when my husband does this. He is afraid of the high pitched beeping sound.

The Carbon Monoxide Alarm. It says so in the title and the OP's second sentence.

No, what do you mean by "presented"? Do you mean every time it goes off; every time you test it? What?

She means every time they demonstrate that product, her dog goes nuts.

Do you mean every time it's advertised on TV? What an obtuse way of describing the situation. It hurts your dog's ears. My collie howls whenever he hears a siren, for the same reason.
