Not the kitchen for me.  Not only would I be afraid something would drop on me, the counters, and the stove, and that I could not clean it, but I would also be afraid of what could get it in and stay for a while.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

No way. I would wonder what was living in there but then the cats would think it's a new cat tree.

This is a serious gourmet kitchen and I think the herbs are fitting.

It would make me personally a bit nervous.

No.  It's scary to think about the dust and mites and bugs that thing would house.

Re: Can you imagine this in your kitchen?

As I look at my very small kitchen, yes, if someone offered me that kitchen, I would take it in a heartbeat - dried stuff and all! But, then I would have to hire a cleaning lady or ladies just for that room. If you are serious about hanging dried herbs, you would probably put them in paper bags or cloth. As a decoration goes, I love it... for one or two days. My sister in law always hung her dried hydrangias in the kitchen. Then one day, I was moving a chair from the kitchen to the dining room and poof, dried hydrangia all over everything. My bad!
