I am on waitlist for valerie parhill's stroage ottoman duo;

I was going to get the green -an olive shade, but thinking it may look cheap. I do not want the reds or blues but naturals and still keep thinking about the green moss color (olive I think it's called) I was wondering if i got the dark very deep brown almost black, would it not look good if we moved to a warmer climate? I have no black furniture and thinking that shade may be too Northern looking like where we live up here (near QVC). I'm thought the light brown looked rather typical maybe even cheap I have a beautiful Ethan Allen leather chair w/ottoman and dont need another brownish tan like that and was thinking the lighest tan (which really is a cream/ivory I think by the pics ) looked too cheap but many bought and liked it. I havent counted it out!. I want to pair 2 up and maybe place under a console. I have no set decor going on right now -- we will move in a year so I'm keeping these in mind...if anyone has any ideas of what shade will work for any room that would be great. For the bedroom it won't be necessary. I was only thinking of using these in areas downstairs. I'm not into modern and not into victorian. I am trying to update now at my age and keep things simple not ornate and get things more stream lined and classic...it will take me a long time but I want to try as my taste as Im older now is getting to be less is more. BUT I HAVE SO DARN MUCH! ACK!!! :/ Sorry if messy, I am tired and had a long day. Will check when I wake up to see if anyone replies
