You will love it!  Looking for wall paper to duplicate those kitchen walls!!!

@ECBG ,  I haven't entirely finished it yet, but it is remarkable for being so many hundreds of years old.

 

I love the outsides of these ancient cottages.  And often the inside too.   Usually, the typically low ceilings are part of the whole centuries'-old milieu, and don't bother me.  But for some reason, the low ceilings in this one somewhat interfered with my appreciation of the interior;  there was more of a "basement" feeling.  It could have been just the way they were filming it, the lighting, etc.  I will have to scan again.

 

The owner was so sweet in demonstrating the various charms of the cottage and the baking kitchen.  I love the way Kirsten is always so interested and deferential to the people she interviews about interiors--  she is doing such a service in showcasing these precious dwellings.
