Sorry to bother.  From the "Tea" video, do you know what "clotted cream" tastes like?  Many thanks.

Any question from you is never a bother, @ECBG !  Clotted cream is a rich, thick type of cream with a VERY high fat content ( which means I should mostly avoid it, rats),  that the Brits make and use on scones, and on desserts, etc.  I think it's the high fat that gives it that goldenish color.

It's kind of a West country thing ( Devon and Cornwall) but has spread.

I had it when I was in London and Devon as a teenager, and boy, it was rich but yummy.  It'll be fun to see how Enuffstuff makes it with her recipe.

I watched "Whimsical and Playful English Cottage" and love it!   Isn't it neat the way you walk right into that enchanting, striped-wall, candle-lit dining room, beautiful.

Of course, I like that it was a little eclectic, with those midcentury modern wishbone chairs, mixed into the farm elements.  The sitting room similar, really liked that too.  Did not care for the tile backsplash in kitchen.  Funny, I often don't like English backsplashes.

But that pantry/ utility room!!  Wasn't that out of this world!   Thanks for the alert, that was fun.

You're so welcome.  Just sitting here trying to soothe muscle cramps after the exercising I have to do after the stair fall.

The wall papers were so pretty compared to big white walls!  I loved the soft curves of the couch and arm chairs.  I didn't think there was enough light to read. in the living room.

@ECBG ,  I'll never forget the first one of their vacation cottages I saw, in Devon-- it was very modest, utterly sweet--

Love when they walk those cobblestone streets...
