@Oznell

The hand thrown vase from Etsy came and it's a beauty!!!

I'm waiting on stick on table top protectors before I work with it.  Mine had died after only 20 years!

I put the vase next to the coffee maker so you could see the size.

Going back for the white very soon.Smiley Happy

@ECBG ,  I love it!  The color, everything, especially that it is hand made.   So earthy, with the delicate "scoring" going all around.

I'm always so drawn to black pottery-- it is such a standout, especially in a fairly traditional setting like mine.  I was pondering a pair of midcentury modern-looking black vases just the other day.   But I talked myself out of them, simply b/c our place is small, and I'm trying to hold the line!  Ceramics are my BIG weakness.

I have considered spray painting a pair of my existing vases a matte black...

Now... tell me what gorgeous arrangements you are contemplating for this striking piece!

First of all, I have the large size for on top of the jelly cabinet where the deer was at Christmas.  There are 3 sizes.

For spring, I have several pink dogwood and Aster's greenery.  I need to get that white vase in here for summer arrangements.

I have "partied hardy" on my wardrobe and found some darling pieces.

I'll order the white soon.  I can't wait!

After this period, I'll keep the black for fall.  I was just concerned like all items black, it would sell out.  Apparently, she is making each order as it comes in from the time, so it takes a while.

The shop is "Silk Flower Home Decor".

Oh, @ECBG ,  I just checked that Etsy shop--  she has a nice range of sizes in that black pottery.  Yours must be the 13 incher.   It will look great, love all your flower creations!

Good luck on the white one too--   hope you'll be able to post a pic of that one when it comes in.
