Re: Calling All Crafters - March 16

From Glor46er...............the only other thing I want would be the TS depending on the price.  I think it will be between $60 and $70.......just my opinion.  I wonder if there will be any other card kits mentioned.  I know the auto ship pop up card kit for March will be coming for those who signed up for that.

The TSV flip card kit single ship was listed as a product for a few minutes on HSN on Thursday and the price was $89 and change ($89.95?).  The listing was quickly removed.  Have no idea if that will be the actual price on the 16th.

Good catch @gumolay!  I was afraid that it would more than I wanted to pay and it seems that I'm right.  I'll bet the auto-ship extras are even more expensive when you divide the number of cards you get out to a per-piece cost.  I guess I won't be flipping out for flip cards...lol.  I'll bet they sell out, though.

Re: Calling All Crafters - March 16

I had "mentally" set my cut-off price for this kit at $60.  Anything more than that is just more than I'm willing to spend at this point.  I might change my mind, but that's my current thinking.  I wish she offered the kit of pre-cut cards with embellishments, without the dies.  Much more affordable that way.

Re: Calling All Crafters - March 16

I agree - I think this is going to be pricey.  The extra accessories alone are expensive! The paper is $25 and the sentiment stickers are $30.  That would be $55 to start making extra cards.  You would still need envelopes and embellishments. I'm sure the auto ship is different shapes, which means you'd need to order new sentiment stickers later for the new cards to make extras, etc.  I think the cards are cute & I'd like to try them, but I agree with Marsha, this may be the first craft day where I walk away empty handed.  Even forgetting about the cost, I still have kits I haven't touched yet, I'm on the pop up card AD, and I think I've just hit max capacity and inventory overload!  I need to start saying no to temptation, because if "she who dies with the most stuff wins...", I am a real gold medal contender!!!

@gumolay, you were absolutely right on with the pricing for the TS.  Too expensive for me so I'm skipping it.  I did buy the pop-up cutting die set, though, so I didn't escape Craft Day without buying something.

Re: Calling All Crafters - March 16

Anyone caving on the TSV? I was so opposed, but then I saw how cute and smaller the cards were for a change, and I'm thinking how much I paid for her die sets alone in the past.  All I can think about is how I can use my own papers, like b-day balloons, etc for kids cards with the dies.  Also all those little accent dies I could cut out of the toner paper sheets from those minc AD kits and minc them for even more embellishments!  Help me, I'm losing to temptation!!!!!!

Re: Calling All Crafters - March 16

I'm not caving. I love the card kit, but I don't have all that many people to send cards to so they'd end up getting the same type of designs over and over again by the time I used up that stash. Not to mention I still have about a billion cards left over from other card kits. These are pretty but way too expensive in my opinion. Even with the dies, it's just too much. But I am enjoying watching.

So much for my "mental price limit".  I did, of course, cave.  And for A/D no less!  I think I'm incapable of resisting most of AG's offerings....especially when they are TS items.

@SMA X 2 @Krimpette I hope you enjoy your new kit.  I'm not even watching the shows which helps keep my finger off the order button.
