Hi everyone! Did anyone get any goodies from Craft Day yesterday? I thought there would be a post but don't see one.

@islandgrrl I was so tempted by that Minc machine but the toner papers needed are what holds me back. I don't have a laser printer and don't want to have to go have toner papers made. But what a deal, huh? That was very tempting!

I bought about 8 things yesterday, which is a record for me. I generally buy one or two things at the most but I wanted some things that I could not pass up (AG's flower stickers and her rosettes, as well as her Floral dies and the Paper Wishes tags, label stamps and dies) and since I am in organization mode, I bought 2 of AG's embossing folder boxes and 2 extra sets of embossing folder sleeves. With the shipping deal, I thought with the sale prices, I couldn't get a lower price than what I got on most things. How about everyone else?

Sorry, @islandgrrl, no Minc machine for me and I skipped the TS Gemini, too. I'll keep hand cranking my embossing. @Qgirl26, there were some nice things, weren't there. I couldn't resist the AG Flower die-cutting set. I also bought the AG summer/fall embossing folders and layers.

For the person who asked....I have a Minc and enjoy it a lot. She provides so many embellishments in the kit that are ready to foil, as well as some toner paper, that I've not had to deal with additional toner papers, that I can recall.

I love that machine yesterday, but no way could I justify the price, for what my uses would be. I used to have a lot of difficulty understanding the Crafter's Companion lady, but I was able to focus more yesterday. Man, she is soooo talented! I bought her corner dies, the glitter Spectrum Noir pens (both metallic and Vintage sets). Also bought the AG vellum stickers and her new fall/winter layer set. Thoroughly enjoyed the shows I saw and am so grateful to HSN for having these craft days!

Good point about the toner papers. I have my eye out for a card making class that features a Minc so I can get a hands on sense of the pluses and minuses. I am relatively new to card making but have been bitten by the bug. I don't want to rush into too much. Sometimes my hobbies are short lived. So jealous of your many purchases! I decided to be good but will confess that I purchased a sticker maker a week ago. I expect it to be delivered today. If you think it, give me a shout out when you review your items!

There were nice things, @Marsha2003. So you and I both got the flowers to die cut. I was wondering if I was all alone in ordering those (well not really, but you know) because I was surprised to see them still available at the end of the day. But I think they will be very nice. There was far too many things to love but most go on my wish list. I loved those summer/fall embossing folders and layers too but had to pick and choose. Let me know how you like yours

@Krimpette, you don't find you have to get extra toner papers? I just hate the thought of buying a tool that will have an end to it's purpose so that always worried me with that.

I think Sara from Crafter's Companion is so extremely talented but her stuff is so fancy, I feel like I don't have a lot of use for it, you know what I mean? Now if I needed wedding invitations or was having some kind of fancy party, her stuff would be exactly what was needed. But for the most part, while I think it's incredibly beautiful, it just looks a little too much for me to put to use. But I do love watching her and I have to admire the talents this young woman has. I do have some of her papers and they are gorgeous!

That machine was nice but I couldn't justify that with having a perfectly good Big Shot to use. Even if I do have to stoop so low as to crank it (laughing at Suzanne Runyon). lol!

@islandgrrl, you may not have the need for more toner papers as Krimpette suggested. I just tend to be overly cautious in choosing things so I look at the whole picture. For me, I just would not like having to go out and purchase the toner papers but for some, that might not be a big deal.

I was bad yesterday but it's extremely rare for me to buy more than one or two items on a craft day. I usually buy myself something on the May craft day because my birthday is then so I treat myself to a few things, but this year in May I had to miss most of craft day and didn't buy a thing. So yesterday was birthday shopping craft day instead. Half of it though is for organizing as I think I will make much better use of my supplies if I finally get things in shape. Right now my stuff is here, there and everywhere. I do not have a craft room so it's all a bit of a mess. I'm trying to do what I can to fix that. I've been scrapbooking and cardmaking for years and years and I have more supplies than I know what to do with so I need to make them more accessible.

Did you buy a Xyron sticker maker? I have several different sizes and I LOVE them. I hope you love yours too! Welcome to the world of cardmaking. We do our craft talk here in the Home threads so that is where to always look or post if you want to chat! Glad to have you here!
