I too like just some rooms of both. I am not a lover of murals or heavy decor so those rooms do not appeal to me.

I love them both.  She's very lucky to own both of these places (not sure if whereabouts of cottage are mentioned).

 

I like the *headiness* of the Manhattan place and the airiness of the cottage.

 

As long as they took their shoes off, I would welcome a cleaning lady.

I like the window seat and bathroom.  In the cottage I like the kitchen -- that's it.

The desk did it for me. Its all way to much. Less is more for me.

I would take the dog out of the country and make him a city dweller.

I much prefer the decor of the city apartment.

The bathroom in the apartment is unusual for a city bathroom.

The city window views are lovely.

There are some very nice elements, pieces, in the country place, however it seems overstocked with items and filling spaces.
