I received the VPH nativity angel...she is perfect in everyway. I am SOOO impressed with the details, paint job of the angel and nativity scene. The angel gown has a lovely champagne shimmer. The little LED light on the inside works and gives the perfect glow over the nativity scene too.
I also got the bay leave picks in the bronze and gold...OMG!!! My jaw dropped when I opened the boxes...they are AMAZING!!! I can't wait to decorate for Fall!!! I have never seen picks as lovely as these in our local decor stores. Another GREAT purchase!!!
The best part was that DH was VERY impressed with everything too.
To me, that says a LOT

Glad to hear about LR's picks! I got the wreath and it is STILL in processing!! ugh! I am anxious to see it in the champagne I ordered. I got her copper wreath last year (in the cedar type), otherwise I would have gotten the bronze color this year - I thought that color was gorgeous!

I am sure your wreaths will be lovely! I wish the cedar twig wreath would come back in stock in the copper.
For us, the 2 champagne twig wreaths will work better in our small livingroom...light and airy. I loved how the matching picks added a lovely touch to our Christmas tree last year too.
I think if we had a bigger home, I 'might' have liked the bay leaves wreath, but I think I would have added a few of the champagne twig picks or the white twig branches to soften the look...just too bold a statement for my taste...although they are beautiful!

Everything arrived safely and I must say, the red pedestals are gorgeous, the cherubs are cute and larger than I expected. The gingerbread houses are cute and very detailed but one house is a smidge defective. Where the roof meets the top of the house, there's a small gap and it's slightly obvious when lit. Certainly not worth returning and if I get creative, I may be able to hide/fix. Overall, very pleased with my purchases.
Thanks for sharing! I have found I have needed to do that once in awhile with decor I purchased in the past too...like using black marker to hide scratches or go to the hobby shop to add a few dabs of paint/glue/etc. Sometimes I will have found a clearanced item in a decor store...say marked down 75% and it will be damaged in some way. If I like it, and it's fixable, I will buy and repair it for a great deal. I hope you can fix your GB House!

I bought 3 sets of those champagne picks last year and I too could not believe how they made the tree look! I think you can use those pics in any décor. I had a green flocked tree and did the woodland theme with gold and red ornaments and they were perfect! They do add so much to a tree/garland.

I really dismissed the picks, but you all are making me want to go and take a second look. I'll be looking for a video to see what I am missing.
This often happens, I dismiss something until others rave about it, then I take a second look and can't believe that I didn't "see the light" the first time!
K9Wife, I was so tempted by the red pedestals, but that isn't a color I use much, only at Christmas, and I decided to get gold and brown (if we are talking about the square ones). But on camera, the red in the mercury glass was looking so deep and rich, it was so tempting. Is it really saturated and kind of dark?

The estimated delivery date for the items that have shipped to me is 07/28. I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through you for a few days.
Susan Louise, I'm glad the picks are pretty. I ordered the gold ones and I'm looking forward to receiving them.
K9wife, I have the square lit pedestals coming in chocolate. I love chocolate as I can use it year-round with almost any other color. As Lisa said, chocolate is a very decor friendly color.

Hi Marsha, My EDD for our angel was 7/28 too. Click on the UPS links on your orders and you might be surprised to see they may show up tomorrow or the day after (view the history - drop off/pick up). Our set of 3 GB Houses have an EDD of 7/30, but they will be here tomorrow.
For us, when the UPS pkgs reach either Omaha or Lenexa, KS, we will get them the next day unless it is a Friday

Sadly, mine say either "billing information received" or "in transit to the UPS facility". It always takes a long time for me to receive items from QVC, so I'm accustomed to it. I get items from HSN in about 3 days, but for QVC, it's usually 10 days minimum.
