old-fashioned/vintage looking santas - valerie's santa in the sleigh with the reinder is my absolute favorite decoration! great thread!

Hi Kel: Do you have Valerie's Santa and Reindeer from last year.I think the item number is H201179??  I looked at it but didn't get it last year but I see there are still some available.

I can't believe those are available. I received it as a gift, I think year before last, and I absolutely love mine (got the Santa and reindeer).

I bought her set of three vintage pieces a couple of years ago, that are done in the same finish, one was kids decorating a tree, kids sledding, and kids building a snowman. I really like that vintage looking style, and the quality of all my pieces are really, really nice. I wish Valerie would bring more things in this style and design.

Mousie - I know what set you are talking about! I bought them on Ebay this last winter and love them! I love any of those vintage inspired pieces!

As for Christmas decor I collect Reindeer, anything Bird, love Valerie's Doves this CIJ.  Also, it would appear that I have a collection of the ever popular Finials.  Woman LOL

Re: CIJ--What do you collect?

[ Edited ]

I used to collect Hallmark ornaments for about 25 yrs and finally gave the majority of over 100 of them to charity...only keeping 3 of them.

Now, when I purchase decor, it's because I love the piece and want to use it as an element in a vignette. However, I have gotten carried away with getting VPH spheres. They are just great to have several colors to change them out for seasons/holidays/etc Smiley Happy

Re: CIJ--What do you collect?

Mostly "It's A Wonderul Life" items, ornaments, the houses from Target, the script, cast autographs, etc.  I have couple of notes from Jimmy Stewart personal secretary on his stationary.

then the usual: angels, Santa, snowmen

Hi kel, I have the Angels and the Santa & Reindeer.  I always find a place to use them.  I first got the santa several years ago when Valerie first brought them and I use every year.

Re: CIJ--What do you collect?

I used to collect Madame Alexander Dolls and miniature alligators (strange, I know, but some are jeweled, soap, candles, carved - all cute).  Now I just have the things in my curio and do not collect anything more.
