Re: CIJ Purchases and Feedback

I went a little crazy (for me at least) this weekend.  I bought:

 - Spode Christmas Tree mugs

 - Harry London 20 piece chocolate pretzels in Penguin Tin

 - Lenox Limited Edition snowman

 - the Lenox TSV ornaments

 - Valerie mercury glass pedestals in both red and silver

 - Valerie mosaic tree

 - Squirrel Brand toffee almonds

 - Smithfield Ham

 - Cooking Buddy (blue with penguins)

 - Junior's mini white chocolate cheesecakes

 - Harry London 6lb tin of chocolates

A lot is advance order but I couldn't resist the CIJ prices on everything.  It's all for me and my sons in our own house since they are the only ones I buy gifts for.

I did however buy A LOT also when CIJ kicked off at the begining of the month. That would take me a while to type. LOL

Re: CIJ Purchases and Feedback

I purchased very little this year, but I did buy a set of the mercury glass bells that Valerie presented in gold. They are sold out, but if they come back in stock, I want a set of the silver.

They are just beautiful! Also something that if LR were still around, they would have been in one of her shows IMHO.

Hi Everyone,

Not new to QVC but have not posted much in the forums.  I've been browsing throught this "Home" section and see that you all have such good ideas & wonderul taste!

I'm wondering what you all think of LR's white nutcrackers from last year.  I'm soooo tempted to get them.

Also, I see that the mosiac tree you all are raving about is gone.  Was there any mention of bringing it back?

Thanks for your input.

Valerie said during the presentation that it would not be coming back...at least not this year. I'm almost positive she mentions that in the video, so watch it if you have time. I suggest to keep checking back...have a tab open on your pute to refresh the link for the tree. It does happen that folks will canel their order/s and you could get lucky. We'll be receiving our two mosaic trees tomorrow...can't wait!  Good Luck!!! Smiley Very Happy

Hi, mousiegirl...you know how to put "Christmas" in CIJ....

I have bought three sets of the TSV ornaments...two of the Jim Shore Nativity Angel..(H207057) and 9 of the Cooking Buddy's...in red.......

I will edit should I add more to the list, too....

I now have to add the My Grandmas coffee cake...I know I can buy it locally....cheaper....but not the two flavors...

BRB....glad to help out about those cute little ornaments...

Mousiegirl...good to know those Cooking Buddies are nice and useful....they are going to be part of the Christmas gifts....

OMG Cooking buddies! I LOVE those things. I got one for Christmas last year and don't know how I've lived without it. Better than any mit, moppine, or anything I've ever used. I get so excited about those dumb things. They do make great gifts!

Hi! Glad you posted!  I didn't purchase the nutcrackers, but I the reviews have been positive.

Also, keep an eye on the selection of "as is" items.  The pearl mosaic trees might show up there in a while as returns.

I'm so sorry I missed the Cooking Buddies. By the time I read these threads to see everyone talking about them, they were on waitlist.  They look adorable. I watched quite a bit of CIJ but tended to take a break when the food and kitchen shows were n so i missed them.  Boo Hoo!!  I'll have to keep a watch out for them next time.  I hope everyone who got them enjoys them.

Welcome Quack.  This bunch can be crazy but it is a fun part of the boards.  My friend got the white nutcrackers last year and they are very nice.  She gifted them but said she wished she had gotten a set for herself.
