Re: CI Set of 5 Embossed Flameless

Hi again, WL. I just thought of something. I wonder if all of your older CI candles are called Ivory instead of Cream? At some point, years ago now, when I first started reading this forum and learning about flameless candles, I recall some talk about how CI switched from using Ivory to Cream, and how they were definitely two different colors.

Maybe someone who owns both could describe the differences? Or maybe you already own both. Just a thought! Trying to understand why Cream would appear gray...

I don't have any called Ivory by CI, only CI Cream and CI Vanilla.

BTW--There are two new sets of scroll designed hurricanes on Q's website today. Just search flameless, and sort by new to see them. Expensive.

whitelinen...The last time I was in Menards they had no flameless candles by Inglow. I hope they have not stopped selling them but they might have. I was bummed!

Thanks mallemo! I have some really pretty apple green FC from Menards. The only drawback is no timer, and of course they are much lesser quality than the older CI candles.

What's new with you? Any exciting projects? Did you see SHOPR's post about the elusive red lantern; she posted a manifesto stating our desires regarding the lantern.

Did you ever request it on Val's website?

Hey whitelinen! I did request that lantern on Valerie's FB page but no luck yet. I think I saw the post about the lantern from SHOPR. Is it under "CIJ...what are you buying?" I have not had as much time on here lately as normal. I bought some of the green candles in the past either by CI or Inglow and always returned them due to the orange glow they seem to have. I do have an hourglass shape set from CI that are from way back and I love those even though they glow orange too. I just love the shape and the raffia on them. I don't have much going on in the way of fun projects right now. Maybe closer to Fall.

So happy to hear from you! Think everyone has summer activities so people are MIA. I am always happy to see summer come, and then happy for it to be gone because fall starts my decorating fun. Right now I have half a garage full of furniture and dec items to chalk paint. Think I overdid the gathering and need to stop!! Sometimes the bargains are way to enticing tho . . .

I'm living in the past re the CI candles. May give up and try the Luminara next.

I seem to get lots of projects going and then don't finish! I love Fall as well just don't like the white stuff that follows. I only have 3 Luminara but I do love them.

Re: CI Set of 5 Embossed Flameless

How is the glow from these candles.

I notice the new ones are not as bright as ones in the past. But I am need of a few to go to lanterns so the color of the candle does not matter, but need light.

Good to know mallemo. Guess it's time to try the Luminara!
