Re: Buying Furniture Online; Is It Worth It?

It depends on what you are looking at and looking for.

A very simple and inexpensive accent piece, I might buy online, but never sofa, chair, or good wooden pieces that will be the focal point of my rooms, or that I expect to last for decades.

And except for industrial shelving for the basement or garage, I don't want furniture that has to be assembled, as it just isn't sturdy enough or good enough quality to last the amount of time I want it to.

I will not order anything on line that needs to be assembled.

Re: Buying Furniture Online; Is It Worth It?

We once bought an entertainment center that my DH had to assemble. It took him all weekend. I had to work both days and was on call so I did not get home until 7PM sunday. For once I was glad I was working. He did a beautiful job but the dog had her paws over her ears due to the language that was used!
