Re: Busy Days or Quiet At Home Days?

Ladies, thanks for all the great replies......I love reading your thoughts.

My husband and I are both retired and just love it. We are do-it-yourselfers and projects abound in our household.....always have, even when we were working.

We love our home and are always doing something to it......and admittedly, sometimes we get in over our heads with our schedules.

The back porch project is coming along nicely......I am over the moon with ideas and so excited. The guest room is also coming along and the changes are happening slowly but surely.

Seems we all like a balance of work and rest.....that's a good thing. Smiley Wink

Re: Busy Days or Quiet At Home Days?

Working takes up much of my time so I spend my down time working on my house and spending time with my family and friends. We rarely have a free day.

The Summer is super busy for us with our family spending a lot of time here. We travel to them often between September and January for Holidays and Birthdays.

I have the most time for a me day in January and February but I absolutely hate the winter so I would easily give that up for the hectic Summer.
