@faeriemoon - I've been thinking for the past month or so that it would be great if we could just pick up the whole country and tilt it so we could have some of the East Coast's extra water to put out all of our fires out west! In my area, we've only had rain during parts of two of the last 60 days, which is unusual even for us. Where are all the cool autumn temperatures?!

Good luck weathering the storm! Smiley Happy

@loriqvc  That would be quite a trick.  Wish we could help you; fires are so scary.  Stay safe.

@loriqvc- Would love to send you some of our excess water from SC. Many roads still flooded as well as towns.

Re: Building the ark here in CT...

Today I was watching Q during VPH show and Leah said "listen to that rain!".  You could hear it during the whole presentation...and then talked to family in NJ they said it was a true downpour.

Sometimes it's like this after 4 down here in FL -- although today it missed us!

Same here @faeriemoon, I'm across the Sound on the North Shore and it's crazy.  I keep getting flood warnings on my phone, lots of sirens too!   Stay dry and safe!    Heart

I'm in the New Haven area and OMG the downpours. I was just outside, yes in the heavy rain, had to maneuver some extended downspouts and my neighbor was pulling in his driveway. Said he had to turn around 3 times before finding unflooded roads to make his way home.

Re: Building the ark here in CT...

My mother is in Fairfield county.  She is about to float away.  Hopefully the gutters aren't full with the leaves coming down.  We had rain today in the midwest.  It started pouring on the way home from work.  Almost had to pull over.
