A few months ago I did a house tour that had something very similar to this between the Kitchen and Dining Room...everyone loved it.

Good use of that space if you are a wine drinker.

Good use of under the steps space, but I don't want to see wine bottles when I'm walking around the house. The side glass door is OK, though.

This would be a huge turnoff for me if I were touring this house to buy it. I would be stumped as to what I would change this too. I don’t care for this at all.

Just sheet rock the front part in and use it for a closet or storage. Easy peasy.
