Nope, don't want to be "boxed in"

This look of this concept appeals to me.  I can see it in a small apartment where you lived alone.  Makes a small space seem more spacious.  But, it is not practical - where do you put your clothes - no closet, no dressers or armoires.  Sure would have to make your bed frst thing in the morning!

I like the 2nd photo better....a bit more space. I suppose if a person has very limited space, the glass would be much better than typical walls. You wouldn't do a lot of entertaining in such a small apartment, so it would probably work.

Looks like it's just a studio apartment that they put some glass panels in. I don't think it really solves any problems unless they had blinds or something on those glass walls to provide some privacy.I guess it would be ok if you lived alone. What's next ? See through bathrooms.

Interesting. Not sure why it was set up that way. However I could get away from my cat especially in the mornings. 🙀

I wouldn't want to sleep in a cage!

What's the point of this? There is no privacy.

Are you kidding?  One of my cats (the newest rescue) would still wake me up.  He'd be ripping up the carpeting and jumping up at the glass, batting at it and I'd be flying out of bed saying "Stop that!"
